My super fantastic holiday

Been a bit slack on the auld blog as of late. That is going to change soon.

On Friday 23rd I leave to head to Niamh ‘The weapon’ Fitzers wedding in Sydney. It’s on a beach with BBQ reception and water taxis back to the city. While I am in oz I will be heading to Alice Springs to do a tour to Uluru seen as I hadn’t seen the rock before. Then is the real holiday. Myself an Murpho aim to see the best parts of New Zealand for the best part of three weeks. She’s a moany old cow in the mornings so I won’t be speaking to her before 12 unless I want to be grunted at. I hope to keep you posted on our voyage of discovery and debauchery over the next 5 weeks. Here is our itinerary for New Zealand just to make you all jealous.

My holidays :)

One and only fix of blossoms this year

I wasn’t going to take the camera out until I went away but I made a last minute decision on Saturday to go to the Botanic gardens early on Sunday morning to get my one and only fix of blossoms and daffodils for the year. They’ll all be gone when I get back from hols. I wasn’t disappointed, there were dew drops everywhere. I tried to process them differently too and not be so dark. Blossoms demand less darkness. The squirrels were out. I fed them (not Superquinn sausages). One of the little feckers nearly ran up my leg.
