Hello Sydney, Goodbye QE2

I arrived off my 29 hour flight on Monday shattered and went straight to bed for a few hours. Got up and headed into the harbour to see the QE2. My friend had told me it was there and it was leaving for her last ever voyage. Got there and took some shots of it docked near the bridge. As I was about to leave I spotted a wharf where you could see the back of the boat through this 6ft high dirty glass. I was trying to take shots over the glass using live view but couldn’t really do it. I then climbed up on top of a bench and was shooting away until the security guards told me to get down. There was a press guy in an ideal position in front of the glass. The security guard who gave out to me called me over and let me in with the press guy. Woohoo. I had the perfect spot as the 4 tugs arrived and towed the QE2 from the port and off out to see on her last ever voyage ( I overheard someone say she was being sold as a hotel) .

Yesterday I went to Palm beach (Home and Away beach) for the day. The sand was so hot it was burning my feet. I could get used to this holiday thing :)
