The scenery on the flight was amazing. Vast desert beneath me. This place is as hot as hell (mid 30s at 10am when I landed) . I have drank so much water and I am only here a few hours. I’m off to by some sort of a hat before my head gets fried. Off on a 3 day tour to Uluru and the Olgas tomorrow. Can’t wait.

Lunch at 2pm on a wharf in the sun, cocktails, a lot of saying ‘yiz hooers boots’, lots of craic, then onto and irish bar for more drinks, goodbyes and back to Fawlty Towers for 1am to get 3 hours kip before my flight to Alice Springs. Nuff said.
It was supposed to be a fantastic day. The day after the wedding. I had no hangover. I headed to the Paddington markets to pick up some t-shirts and got lots of ideas for the Peoples Photography from the photography stalls. The weather was so good I hopped on a bus to the beach. I went to Bondi first and decided to do the walk at least until Bronte beach. On Bronte I decided to walk in the water a bit. I had my jeans on so I was just walking in the water as the tide was coming in and out. I ended up falling in the sea (camera bag on my back). This freak huge wave came for me I tried to run but I fell. Thankfully my bag remained dry. I love my slingshot. My head and the bag were the only things that remained dry. I was absolutely soaking. I had to continue the walk to Coogee to try and dry off. I got some strange looks cos of the state I was in :(. I eventually made it into Mardi Gras (still a bit damp) and I had a spot that this stupid cow stole and then I had to look at her hair blowing in my face. I tried to find my friends but I got half squished and stood on. There was broken glass and sick everywhere. The crowds were mental. Turned out I was on the wrong side of the parade from all my mates and I had to walk about 5km around the parade to find them to get the key to the hostel. I just went home and to top it off my sunglasses broke too. It was a day to forget and I have already put it behind me.
